Superfood of Uttarakhand - Organically grown Whole Toor Dal (Red)
Grown in completely non polluted and chemical free environment Whole Toor Dal is a powerhouse of nutrition’s and taste. The main visual difference is the colour of the legume. While the Desi Toor is of cream colour and the Pahari toor is multi colour primarily light brown with mix of green legume, this Whole Toor dal is of dark brown / Red color. Whole toor is rich in carbohydrate, iron, phosphorous, manganese and Vitamin C, B1, and B9. In Ayurveda this grain was used to stop bleeding and for healing sores. Being very low in calories it can also form a part of any nutritious weight loss diet.
